Bears are still feeding on unsecured garbage all over Fernie, Elkview Crescent, Fernie Mobile Home Park, Slalom Drive and on 11th and 12th avenue in the Annex. Garbage bears are not born, they are created! Keep your garbage in a garage, shed or in the basement until collection day. The result will be a cleaner and safer community and prevent the needless death of our bears.
